I'm so glad you're here!

First, I am married to the love of my life, Jake! We have been married for  18 years...I can't believe it is so! We have 3 beautiful babies, Kaylyn (13), Kasen (10) and Kyle (7). These are the 4 people who have inspired me to do what I do. My passion for photography began when my daughter was born in 2010. I wanted to freeze the minutes as I watched her grow too fast. I picked up my first camera in September of 2011 and that was that. I was determined to figure it out. After our son Kyle was born in 2016 we made a big leap of faith and I quit my 9-5 job and pursued our photography business full-time. I love that God has blessed me with this incredible gift I get to call my job while being home during the most precious time in our babies lives. I LOVE that I am the one that gets to freeze time for couples and families to forever remember . Whether its an Engagement, Wedding, Family or Senior session I am so thankful I get to create lasting memories for people to forever look back on.

What do I love about this beautiful beast you wonder? The doors slide open like a space ship and if you open them both on a windy day all the crumbs and leftover fishy crackers blow right out. I can shut and open the doors without showing the world i'm in my PJ's and slippers. I love that it has a sunroof and automatic doors and windows (for the most part)...I didnt say it was new! Its perfectly imperfect just like our lives as we raise kiddos big and small!

2 comments come after I tell people that. first, that must suck to have your birthday so close to Christmas. Me: ABSOLUTLY NOT! Christmas is my favorite time of year and a birthday gift in itself. I love everything about my birthdate. 2, that must stink sharing it with your brother. Again, no way. Its actually been cool for different reasons through the years. I've always looked up to my brother so getting a day for it to be just about us was pretty cool growing up. Now as we get older and life gets busy its a day we will take time out of our crazy schedules of work and raising kids to call and chat. Now that i'm getting older I no longer feel the need to make it known he's 10 years older than me (and I think he appreciates that)! I love my birthday and I love sharing it with my big brother!

I don't typically see myself as a boring person and don't think others would describe me that way either but when you sit me down and ask me to write about stuff...I feel like a robot and not a very smart one!

I hate to write stuff...like all these words i'm writing now...

I have 4 older brothers, 1 older sister and 1 younger sister. We are big and loud and crazy and I LOVE IT!!

I come from a BIG and I mean BIG family!

We went to the same high school (just different years), he was friends with both my sister and brother and we never met until I moved to Seattle. We met on the most perfect Seattle 4th of July afternoon and the rest was history. I love that hunk of a man more than I could ever imagine and so thankful God decided he was the one for me! We are a good team! Some seasons we win Super Bowls other seasons we are lucky to win a game from time to time...but we stick together and that's what makes us a great team!
